Before beginning any commercial construction project, it’s important to do your due diligence, especially when it comes to securing the required approvals. If your project is related to an insurance claim, be sure to verify your coverage and understand any limitations, such as deductible amounts and replacement costs.
We will provide you with a copy of your estimate as an attachment to your Construction Work Authorization.
Along with your Construction Work Authorization, we will provide a Deposit and Draw Schedule. Please note, failure to make progress payments may delay your project, including the deposit (as required by state law).

If your property is mortgaged, some lenders and insurance companies may issue “multiple party” checks that include you, your mortgage company, and us. You’ll need to contact your mortgage company to obtain approval to release payments for work being performed on your property.
It’s important to take the time to research and select materials such as carpet, tile, flooring, etc., early in the process. This can save significant time throughout the project, as some items may have long lead times.
This document must be signed for any work to begin.
We are dedicated to delivering exceptional results while providing peace of mind throughout the restoration process. Trust our committed team to restore your home or business efficiently, safely, and professionally.

Coordinating the schedule of tradesmen, as well as arranging access to your business, is essential for running an efficient construction project. One of the most common causes of project delays is poor communication and scheduling between tradesmen and business owners.
We will reach out to you at least weekly during the construction phase to provide updates on the status of your project. Please let us know the best time and method for us to communicate with you.
If your project involves multiple activities (e.g., carpet, flooring, drywall, painting), it’s important that you inspect the work as each phase is completed to identify any issues quickly and address them.

Unforeseen issues can arise after work begins, leading to additional costs. For example, hidden damage may be discovered during demolition. While we try to anticipate such issues, we can’t foresee everything. If this happens, we will work with your insurance adjuster to see if these costs can be added as a supplement to your estimate. However, you may need to sign a Change Order to cover the additional costs.
Sometimes, customers want to change or upgrade materials after the initial estimate has been accepted. We will do our best to accommodate these changes. However, once work has started, we cannot make changes that would affect ordered materials or structural elements.
If your project is estimated to cost more than $10,000, you may be asked to make progress payments as work progresses. For insurance-related projects, it’s important to stay in close contact with your adjuster and mortgage company to ensure payments are made promptly, or work may be delayed.
At Uplift Restoring your business, we go beyond repair—we rebuild your peace of mind. Trust us to not only fix the damage but to uplift your space and spirit.
